Hi there, I’m Brooke—the Founder + CEO of LittleCreek+Co. Since this is our very first blog article (cue the butterflies!), I thought it would be fitting to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the firm and share a bit about what drives us.

A Unique Journey

I’ve spent over 20 years as a civil engineer, solving complex planning and design problems. In my last role at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), I led multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects, managing intricate systems, working with stakeholders, and solving complex problems.

This experience laid the foundation for LittleCreek+Co., where we bring those same skills to home design, ensuring your project is approached with precision and strategic planning from the very beginning.

People-Centered Design

At TxDOT, I learned that the best designs are not only strategic but also deeply personal. In one project, a family requested that we preserve two magnolia trees planted by a late relative. While we couldn’t save both, we adapted the design to preserve one and minimize disruption to the other.

This experience reinforced my belief that great design balances functionality with the personal touches that make a space meaningful—something we incorporate into every project at LittleCreek+Co.

When I transitioned into home design, I realized how my background gave me an edge. My experience in managing complex systems, working with multiple stakeholders, and balancing priorities directly applies to designing homes that function effortlessly.
