#TheHauteMessHome was LC+C first full-service design project—and it was personal. Designed for my own family, this home had to keep up with three active kids, a gray dog, and a nonstop lifestyle while still offering something visually interesting.
When my family discovered the new construction, the home was in the dry stage, with planned builder-grade finishes that felt uninspired and generic. Dark floors, stark white everything, and a one-note material palette didn’t reflect how we actually lived. I reworked the selections, layering modern, casual finishes with durable fabrics, forgiving countertops, and architectural details like textured wallpaper and wall molding. It became more than just a home—it became the project that launched LittleCreek+Co.
